The family is the main pillar of the Bachleda Group. Founded in the 1990s by the patriarch of the family – Adam Bachleda-Curuś – the company, with respect for the traditions of the region, focuses its business activities in particular in the area of real estate, the hotel industry, agricultural production and trade. In the last decade, the Group has successfully launched the following in Poland: CH Carolina Herrera, Purificacion Garcia and Carmex cosmetics. The company is also a pioneer in the hotel business. Its portfolio includes Bachleda Kasprowy Hotel, the five-star Bachleda Resort, and the first-in-Poland MGallery by Sofitel – Bachleda Luxury Hotel in the heart of Cracow, whose opening was a huge success and which currently is the most luxurious boutique facility in the city of Polish Kings. Continuously developing its activities, the Bachleda Investment Group is also involved in the development sector, building exclusive residential complexes with extensive Wellness & SPA services. The company's portfolio includes over 100 properties throughout Europe.

400 years of tradition
The history of the Bachleda-Curuś family goes back to 1600 and is intrinsically interwoven with Podhale.
“The first mentions go back to 1600, when there was nothing here except for forests and mountains. Difficult life in harsh mountain conditions shaped characters and united people. Importantly, in this region of Poland, people have always felt free. This was extremely important, because there was no serfdom in these areas. Highlanders have always been considered to be noble families directly subordinated to the king, hence their royal grants. Many Podhale families received this privilege in the form of land that stretched from peak to peak. These were the beginnings of private business, based on which our ancestors learned that they could only rely on themselves.”
